Republicans get crazier every day

Wingnut and new Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), in defense of the hilariously-named "Class Action Fairness Act" now being debated in Congress, had this to say on silicone breast implants:

"And I thought I would just share with you what science says today about silicone breast implants. If you have them, you're healthier than if you don't. That is what the ultimate science shows. . . . In fact, there's no science that shows that silicone breast implants are detrimental and, in fact, they make you healthier."

Well, commentary on that one seems extraneous, other than to note how reassuring it is that this wacko is on the Senate Judiciary Committee.  But special note to men looking for a similar health boost: the use of penis pumps, at least while in public, should be avoided.
