DFA Makes Cambridge Endorsements

Democracy for America Cambridge has endorsed Jesse Gordon, Sam Seidel, Ken Reeves and Denise Simmons for Cambridge City Council. The decision came after a week of voting (both online and offline) preceded by about a month's worth of information gathering (including a candidate forum and questionnaire distributed to each candidate), according to the group's Shai Sachs. "The rules themselves were adopted at the July meeting, following a review of a similar process we used to endorse in the Second Middlesex state senate race," Sachs said. A copy of the group's endorsement procedures is available here. DFA Cambridge also has launched a new website: www.dfacambridge.org.
