Flip, flop, flip, flop

The AP reports that House Republicans have not only ditched their plan to make it harder for the Ethics Committee to find ethical violations, but have also reversed course on the "DeLay Rule," which (as we discussed here a little while back) repealed an internal rule that required members of the House GOP leadership to step aside if they were indicted.

FrankensteinWell, will wonders never cease.  So the FrankenCongress monster has temporarily lurched away from the path of total catastrophe, leaving the villagers afraid but unharmed, until another day.  Stay tuned.
