Building capital
Rick Perlstein lays it down for the Democrats: Be what you are and what you were, proudly, gloriously:
The most glorious thing about congressional Democrats is that they have drawn the line and said: No further. Don't. Touch. Social. Security. It is a heroic stand. What's more, it's been enormously politically effective.
Now think about this: They are drawing on the capital of an entitlement passed 70 years ago.
They'll be drawing on the capital from Medicare 35 years from now. Congressional Democrats won't let them kill it. Because they understand: These programs make life in America fundamentally better. And because these gooses, Social Security, Medicare, lay golden eggs. They manufacture Democrats.
Now ... has George Bush ever done anything with capital -- political or otherwise -- except for taking it out back and lighting it on fire?
Building capital takes smarts, hard work and courage. Big promises, and big delivery.
Any takers?

I have been studying the question of abortion and fetual stem cell for years! 1.The Bible says God isn't the author of confusing? 2.The difference in a human life and an animal's life or a vegatable or a fruit's life is the soul. 3.The soul never dies, it goes back to God or to Satan. 4.now we know a fertalized egg is about the size of a speck. 5.If a speck gets it soul at conseption, then we will have different sizes of specks, blobs and different forms of fetuses in Heaven? "IS THIS CONFUSION?" A.The only scriptures I found was when God breathed the breath of life into ADAM he became a living soul and B.The first Adam became a living soul the second Adam became a quickening spirit. 6.Leading us to believe at the time of birth and the breath of life (a life becomes a living soul?) and when one is saved from sin and dies they become an alive sprit. 7.If any Evangelist or Priest can show us differently in the Bible, please let me know.
