    REGISTER TODAY for August 30 primary

    TODAY is the last day to register for the August 30th primary in the Middlesex 2nd Senate district, if you haven't already.

    The Middlesex 2nd is:

    MEDFORD (register at City Hall, 781-393-2424)
    SOMERVILLE - Wd. 1, Pcts. 2, 3; Wd. 2, Pcts. 2, 3; Wds. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (register at City Hall, 617-625-6600 x 4111)
    WINCHESTER (register at Town Hall, 781-721-7130)
    WOBURN - Wd. 2 (register at City Hall, 781-932-4450)

    Last day to register voters for the state primary; registration hours 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. (except in towns under 1500 registered voters, registration hours 2:00- 4:00 P.M. and 7:00-8:00 P.M.).

    I think this has got to be the official place for Middlesex 2nd banter, babble, burble, and bicker bicker bicker. So if you want all this to come to something, register and then vote on 8/30.

    Mike Callahan's office is right at Davis Square.  Lots of signs, you can't miss it.

    Pat Jehlen's main office is a block and a half down Elm Street, #240B. That's in the Social Security Building, right next door to Hollywood Express video, between the Dunkin Donuts and Anna's Tacqueria."

    For more convenient registration, if you happen to live near a candidate's office, walk in and they'll do it for you - if you intend to vote for the candidate and tell them so, they'll be delighted. They'll save you work by taking your form to city hall for you, and you'll save them work by identifying a voter for them - which is exactly what they're spending all their time and effort doing.

    I meant to add: Two candidates have their offices in Davis Square...

    Mike Callahan's office is right at Davis Square. Lots of signs, you can't miss it.
